Paw Pad- SUP Dog deck pad for Blue Planet Tuf Tech Stand Up Paddleboards
Переглядів 518Місяць тому
The paw pad extends the existing deck pad on a Blue Planet Tuf Tech board to provide extra grip for a Dog or other pet to ride on the nose of the board. Pets often want to ride on the nose of the board and tend to slide off if the deck pad does not reach the nose. That's why we designed the paw pad, made to fit perfectly on a 11' x 35" Tuf Tech Ohana model. It also fits on our 10'6, 10'2, and 9...

Very interesting design aspects of this paddle. Very well done Robert!
Can this be used on an inflatable Paddleboard?
Yes, but glue made specifically for vinyl would work better. Something like this: a.co/d/0gEbXP5Q
I always wondered. I have both but don't go fast (flat water) so can't tell any difference.
Yes, at slower speeds you can’t really tell a difference in drag.
Nice board, reminds me of the KT Super K
Thank you. I just looked at it, nice looking model and yes, a similar concept, makes a lot of sense. The 92L version is 6’5 x 22, so our board is quite a bit more compact at 5’8 x 21 x 90L.
great riding and a great spot... I wanna go!!
Kailua is great!
Can I rent one of these boards when I visit? I have my own ML foil and wings...
Sorry we don’t rent foil gear, it’s not covered by our insurance
Incredible
🙏🔥🤙🏼
Hi, would a Armstrong foil work, tracks look quite short
My friend uses it with his Armstrong foils and loves it
Thanks
I like it but what does it weigh?
The weight is 13 lbs
Awesome. Tuttle and plate mounts a good plan.
Yes, some of us still use Tuttle masts!
Nice board Robert!
Thank you Michael!
Absolutely fantastic looking board!
Thank you, stoked you like it!
I know I'm the millionth person to say this, but I went paddlebording today for the first time. I watched this video a few times before and it helped immensely. I had a great time (only fell in once). Appreciate you making this video, great work.
Amazing, getting this kind of comment never gets old, thank you!
Is it possible to ship it to Korea?
Yes it’s possible, please email our shop: blueplanetsurf@gmail.com
13:20 .. that’s crazy .. I’m the sun 10 min … sometimes I paddle 4-5 hours in hot sun and deck doesn’t get wet
The water cools the board when paddling even if the deck is dry so that’s not an issue but we have seen lots of boards with heat damage from being left baking in the sun on a hot beach or on (or inside) a car. Dark colored boards or deck pads are especially susceptible to heat damage, don’t take that risk.
Maybe also alert people to the fact they should not stand up in 2 feet or less of water … like you’re doing. !!
Great but a close of after the repair would have been nice !
Please see the before/ after photos on the left side of the video thumbnail here: www.blueplanetsurf.com/foil-repair-low-halogen-marker-2-x-1000-2-x-2000-w.html
Love it. Aloha
🙏😎❤️🤙🏼
Mine comes Thursday 😊
Fantastic, enjoy
Me too!😂
👍👍
@blueplanetsurf I got my paddleboard and went to the lake. It was a little bit windy and choppy, but i used your tips and I stood up and paddled. I was so stunned. I'm 61yo female. Everybody was watching. Thank you so much. Oh its kinda hard to get back on your board with a life jacket. Thank you again all the things you taught me in your video worked. I looked like a pro out there. 😁 but I'm not 1st time ever. 😊
What do u think about the ocean band?
It looks good actually, a bit overpriced but probably good quality silicone and titanium parts. I posted this before Apple made a band that works well for surfing, definitely don’t use the sport band for watersports
This helps a lot and i am going tomorrow and this will be fun
Fantastic, enjoy! 🤙🏼
This video rocked Yeah right... Please release more soon!.
everyone I know getting into dw foiling is asking the same question. any advice for dw or foil SUP paddles?
I find the same length I use for SUP surfing, about head high, works well for me. The shorter paddle allows me to apply more power and accelerate quickly to get up on foil. It’s a bit counter intuitive because a longer paddle seems to make sense for reaching the water when up on foil but for getting up, shorter seems to be the way to go.
Thanks Robert, yes it is! Hope, you‘re fine to🤙
🙏😎🤙🏼
Aloha Robert, nice video👌BR from Mirko/ Mr. Move Windsurfing Sorpesee/ Germany🤙
Thank you Mirko, good to hear from you, I hope all is well in Germany!
Thank you. Had all my kids watch and then practice before setting out.
That is great, I will all our kayak rental customers did that!
Would have been nice if he had his PFD on as he was emphasizing safety. Good vid otherwise.
Do you think it is possible to build Muscle Mass with sup? What training should be done? I don't care about speed or anything else, aesthetics only. I already go to the gym but I would also like to do it in the sea(I already have the sup 14')
SUP will give you ripped abs, lats, arms, back, and a strong core for sure, but it's more of a lean and mean, well balanced strength, not bulky and thick muscle mass like you get from lifting heavy weights at the gym. Plus it's more fun than pumping iron.
Amazing prone wing rescue! 👏🏻
Derek is da man! 🤙🏼
Inspiring, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Great video
🙏Stoked! 😎🤙🏼
Going kayaking with friends this Wednesday for the first time, this video was very helpful and informative, feel more confident now. Thank you good sir.👍
Fantastic, have a great time 👍😎
Looks amazing! I checked the link, but it doesn’t mention if it floats?
Thank you. 🙏 Yes, it floats, of course.
Thanks, while simple and straight to the point. My Confidence has increased and I am ready to go.
Excellent, have fun! 🤙🏼
There’s not a single shot of a surfing dog. I feel ripped off already. So no I will not buy your product.
Haha, ok then. I guess you did not see the shot of a surfing dog at :25?
Hi…i know its weird request but i hear she teaches….and wish to learn in her hood …could you point me in right direction (contact)….Merci
yes, she's a great wing foiling instructor. You can book the lesson here and ask for Nani as your instructor: wetfeetsports.com/products/wing-foiling-lesson
Great video! I’ve been wanting this video for a while 🤙🏽
Cool, good to hear that it’s helpful 🤙🏼
What is the weight of the retrofit strongbox? Thanks
Sorry I don’t have it memorized but its listed at the link in the description 🤙🏼
Great video Robert! 🤙🏽
Thank you, this was a fun project driving around the island and padding at beautiful locations 🙏😎🤙🏼
No fat shaming please, i am 260 and Robby still motivated me, now i ride 2 minutes waves
That’s awesome. 👏 I just meant to say that while winging is one of the easiest ways to get into foiling, SUP is still one of the most accessible ways for anyone to get into watersports.
Great history, awesome talk, big mahalo too keep people stoked with wingfoiling
Thanks you, glad you enjoyed it 🤙🏼
Ingenious
🙏😎🤙🏼
If I was on island id be stocking up!
short but informative, thanks buddy
🙏keep paddling! 🤙🏼
Great video. The actual strapping starts at 2:00
🙏😎🤙🏼
Thank you! Don't overthink it 😁
🙏yes, keep it simple and have fun🤙🏼
Really fab little demo, cheers dude 👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you, cheers! 🤙🏼
I ordered some! I’m curious, how does it how up over time? And do you still use them?
Yes, we still use them and they hold up really well if applied properly. If they lose grippyness, just clean it with some soapy water to remove oils/ sunscreen etc.
@@blueplanetsurf I’ve applied mine and I really like it! I haven’t had any slippage under foot yet so I’m pretty stoked. Gonna order for some of my other boards. Have you guys had any experience removing the pads and any residue leftover? Just hard to find info about these. Thanks 🤙🏻
Hard to forget that first time you dial in the rig and get the board planing - definitely an addictive moment leaving you wanting more. Experienced it all over again last summer first time I got up on foil.
Yes, I remember the exhilarating feeling of planing on a windsurfer for the first time. First time flying a foil takes it to another level! 🤙🏼
